Description
This is a NAM model of the Marshall Valvestate 8100 head, the 8100 was very popular in the 90's, many amp makers were going through a "hybrid" phase of sorts and they would stick a number of tubes in the preamp section of solid state amplifiers attempting to achieve a tube sound. The 8100 has a pretty aggressive sound well suited for metal and is usually known for its connection to Chuck Schuldiner of Death, and Tommy Victor of Prong.
