Tone Sharing Policy

To keep TONE3000 fair and respectful to creators and companies, we’ve set guidelines for what types of tones can be shared publicly.

Prohibited:

• Captures of commercial software (e.g. plugins, amp sims) without permission — to prevent software piracy.
• Any content a company has requested be removed.

Permitted:

• Captures of analog gear (e.g. amps, pedals, rigs, outboard gear).
• Captures of commercial software with explicit permission from the software company.
• Captures involving commercial software, only if the resulting tone is original (e.g. using a chain of plugins or a chain of plugins and analog gear.)

Any publicly shared tones that violate this policy will be removed. To report a tone, email support@tone3000.com.
