Description
IRs made from the cabinet and speakers of my 1971 Fender Twin Reverb loaded with the original Oxford 12T6-10 speakers. Five different close mics were used to capture the speakers; R121, SM57, i5, MD421, and C414, mic'd in the following positions: -Cap=center of the cap -Cap Edge=edge of the cap where it meets the cone -Cone=midpoint of the cone halfway between cap and cone edge -Cone Edge=edge of the cone right next to the baffle One distant mic was also used; a C414, mic'd at the center of the cabinet at distances of 12" and 24". There is also a C414 rear mic at 0", 12", and 24". Speaker numbers: 1-Left 2Right Mics were powered by Universal Audio 2-610 mic pres, passed through HCL Varis Tube Vari-Mu compressor for color, and into RME Fireface converters.
