Description
Arlington Audio - Neural Amp Modeler pack ------------------------------------------ Arlington Audio - Clarion Lead This is a custom pack made by request. It's made up by mixing together a section of 3 amps. The preamp section is from the Engl Ritchie Blackmore Signature, The power amp is from a Peavey 5150 II and the contour controls were derived from a Marshall Valvestate. This all adds up to something that has the sonic footprint of the Engl but tighter and more percussive. The contour control IR set offers the ability to modify the character of the amp from loose to thrashy. To use them, load them into an IR plugin between NAM and your Cab IR. You will want to lower the IR output by -2db to avoid a signal boost. This combination was made at the request of a group user Mark Van Gool. Technical details: Captures: 19 @ 1000 Epochs per capture. Preamp: Engl Ritchie Blackmore Signature Power Amp: Peavey 5150 II Contour Control: Marshall Valvestate Peak: ~3.5db (average) Load Box: Suhr Reactive Load Interface: RME Fireface UFXII Preamp: Golden Age Pre73 MKIII Reamp Box: Radial Pro RMP (Level modified) Referenced with Event Opal monitors, Sonarworks and Jens Bogren impulse responses (not included) Stuff people have requested: -10dBFS sine tone at 400Hz from DAW -> AC RMS reading of **2.15v** at the 1/4" plug after reamp box. 10^(-10/20) = 0.3162 **2.15**/0.3162 = 6.799 20log(6.799/0.775) = **18.86 dBu** If your interface has 12dBu instrument inputs: 18.86-12 = 6.86, you have to LOWER the input in NAM Plugin to -6.86 dB for the capture to sound correct. While I offer my libraries for free, donations would be appreciated and will go towards expanding this library https://paypal.me/arlingtonaudio
