Description

If you like my work & want to support it, you can do so here: https://paypal.me/2dorNAM Chupacabra 50W tube head into a St. Rock React:IR II reactive load. 29 direct profiles covering "clean to mean & some in-between" tones. [POW] = only poweramp profiles (preamp is bypassed) [AMP] = full amp profiles Reamp chain details: • RME Fireface UCX II -> SignalArt reamp box -> Amp -> Loadbox -> RME Fireface UCX II • Calibrated for 13 dBu • Great video on how to use the calibration (dBu) value: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/4rn4pXpNzg4 All profiles have an ESR lower than the established 0.01 threshold so they are very faithful to the profiled gear. A slightly larger architecture was used to balance increased accuracy with a very minor bump in CPU usage. These are direct profiles so feel free to experiment with cab IRs of your choice. To take it one step further, use my "Match" IRs to match the amp/poweramp frequency response to that of the amp connected directly to my Mesa 4x12 Oversized Straight or my Mesa 2x12 Rectifier cabinets. These 2 IRs were created to match the frequency response of my Chupacabra 50W amp profiles (reamped through the St.Rock React:IR II loadbox) to that of my 2 real cabs: • Mesa Rectifier 4x12 Oversized Straight • Mesa Rectifier 2x12 Standard (not compact) These IRs will get you that extra step closer so that the profiles sound / behave / feel as if they were shot with the real cabs connected to them. These may not suit other amps/profiles even if the same loadbox is used; they are specifically tailored for my Chupacabra 50W profiles.
