Description

Old Skool solid state metal tones but this time you'll be using modern impulse responses and plugins! The Crate GX1200H is a solid state head from the late 80's/early 90's I believe. It has 3 channels Clean, OD1 and OD2 which has the Shape feature . The captures cover quite a wide spectrum of tones from clean to fuzz to high gain. Each individual name of the capture contains information such as settings and any pedals that were used. Some of the captures were done using the Francois NeuralNet SUPERINPUT file and the subsequent 40K version, you can find Francois on the NAM Facebook group. At the end of some captures you will see FNN or FNN40K which means Francois sweep files were used. Those that say 1K mean 1000 Epochs and the FNN without 1K at the end were 100 Epochs. I did these to test the sound difference and aliasing differences. Look out for more Crate amps. I have the Crate Flexwave 120H head and the Crate Stealth 50 Valve Combo Amp (Lee Jackson Designed) to come soon. Information:- Reamp Box: Palmer Trave Load Box: Two Notes Torpedo Captor X Interface: Universal Audio Volt 2 DAW: Reaper Trainer: Tone Zone 3000 Models: Feather Epochs: 1000 (a few 100)
