Description

In 2022, I went for a trip to central Victoria and found this poor amp sitting in a barn atop its speaker cabinet. It had been sitting out there for quite a few years I'm told by the owner who FINALLY decided it was worth passing on. The inside is clean, no microphonic tubes or bulgy caps. Just vintage glory from 1968! It's one of my favourites and is full of fun tones, Either super clean and sparkly or jump the channels together and smash the power section for some tight high gain fun. Two Channels, Two Modes, Both Channels jumped together with 4 mode variations each. It's a surprisingly versatile amp from 1968 which can give super nice cleans but also plays almost like a high gain amp in the higher jumped settings. Amp Settings: Bass channel: Treble: 10 - Bass: 7.1 Normal Channel: Treble: 8.1 - Bass: 3.8 Technical details: Captures: 144 @ 1000 Epochs per capture. Amp: Fender Bassman 50 Channels: Bass (Deep On/Off), Normal (Bright On/Off) and Jumped (4 mode versions) Peak: ~3.5db (average) Load Box: Suhr Reactive Load Interface: RME Fireface UFXII Preamp: Golden Age Pre73 MKIII Reamp Box: Radial Pro RMP (Level modified) Referenced with Event Opal monitors, Sonarworks and Jens Bogren impulse responses (not included) Stuff people have requested: -10dBFS sine tone at 400Hz from DAW -> AC RMS reading of **2.15v** at the 1/4" plug after reamp box. 10^(-10/20) = 0.3162 **2.15**/0.3162 = 6.799 20log(6.799/0.775) = **18.86 dBu** If your interface has 12dBu instrument inputs: 18.86-12 = 6.86, you have to LOWER the input in NAM Plugin to -6.86 dB for the capture to sound correct. While I offer my libraries for free, donations would be appreciated and will go towards expanding this library 馃ス https://paypal.me/arlingtonaudio 馃ス
