Description

In this special pack, I used my Maxon OD-9 with a vintage RC4558P Texas Instruments chip from the 80's. This particular chip has less gain than the JRC4558D used in my previous packs. The other particularity with the RC4558P chip is that you get a little less pronounced mids than with the JRC4558D. This results in a light overdrive without too much coloration. Concerning the anti-aliasing aspect, I used a dedicated "super input" file for the captures and the xSTD architecture for the training. The interest of these profiles is potentially to avoid accumulating aliasing problems with the amp. For these captures, the Drive has been set from 0 to 10 (Max), the Tone to 5 (12 o'clock) and 7 (about 2 o'clock), and the Level to 10 (Max). The nam files contain metadata for levels calibration. Technical information: Interface: Motu M2 Reamp Box: Radial Pro-RMP Reamp level: 12 dBu Captures normalized to: -3 dB Epochs per capture: 1000 ESR on xSTD mode: 0.000057 to 0.000112 If you like my work, you can supporting me via paypal. https://paypal.me/kosmicaudio
