Description
Initial attempt to capture my bass tone. I play through Tech 21 SH-1 and BDDI pedals in parallel, and combine the signal. This ended up not sounding exactly how I intended, but somehow has an extra aggressive edge. If you're looking for a very aggressive metal overdrive bass tone, this is for you! Note these pedals include a cab-sim, so you'll effectively get a full rig kind of tone from these, no cab IR required! I do recommend running a compressor and boost in front of this if you are using a passive bass.
