Description

The Vox AC15C1 Normal Channel was captured with 36 settings: at 9 volume levels from 9:00 to max, and at 4 cut positions. The amp’s master volume was cranked. These captures are Standard models and trained at 800 Epochs. Signal Chain: DIYRE L2A Reamp - Vox AC15C1 - Suhr Reactive Load - Steinberg UR824 set at 11.5dBu The Normal Channel stays cleaner at higher volumes than the Top Boost channel. I can still get a clean-ish Hank Marvin tone at 1:00 on the volume. Higher volume levels can be used for crunch, and is reminiscent of a wooly mid-60s Marshall tone when paired with Greenbacks. The Normal Channel takes overdrive pedals better than the Top Boost Channel. A Treble Booster with the cut on minimum and volume to taste should get in the ballpark of Brian May or Rory Gallagher tones.
